Experience Japan Business Cards.

I have just recently completed working on a project for a local business EXPERIENCE JAPAN, which offers all things Japanese, from translation services to craft workshops. The business was just starting up so I was tasked to fully brand it from the logo to the flyers for the upcoming craft sessions.

I started with desiging a logo then applied this to a selection of business cards which I ran by the client to establish if she was happy with the theme and design. The business is set to offer three different types of services and these were named, 'culture', 'language' and 'craft'. These themes were applied to each business card so that the client could hand out the appropriate business card to the appropriate customer.

The first set of designs can be seen below, followed by the final printed designs. I used moo.com as the printers as the offer a service where you can upload as many versions of the front of the card as you want, so that you can have a different image respectively on each card. As you can see below they did a great job! The client chose rounded edges with a matte finish, my favorite!

Boys Toys Illustration Prints.

It was my Dads birthday back and March and I always struggle to bet him something original every year, what do you get that man that has everything. So i decided to make him some sort of print, and it came to me that he would really love something to do with his pride and joy, his Subaru.

I took some snaps of the car, side, front and back so that I could produce some Illustrator drawings accurate to the design of the car. The print is also customised with the number plate ,car badges and the background colour is matched to the colour of the car.

As with the typography custom prints the illustrations were printed on A4 cream matte paper and framed with a white Ikea frame. Examples of the finished product can be seen below along side a second more recent print that was produced for another Subaru owner.

Custom Prints For Sale!

So its been quite a busy month with lots of work on...yeeeey! A big part of this bas been doing custom prints for occassions such as Christenings, Engagements and Birthdays, had a really positive reaction to these and my orders have been ticking over nicely. They have proved to be really good gifts and can be customised to include names, dates, place and personal information. In some cases even the colours and fonts have been customed to the individual for that added personal touch.

The print itself is printed onto A4 matte textured cream card and framed up with one of Ikeas finest! With earlier versions I did start by printing them on glossy photo paper but found that the textured card gave a much nicer high end look to the print.

In the next couple of weeks I will be putting up some print templates onto Etsy to cover birthdays, weddings, births/christenings etc, so that the customer can select the occassion print and then send me in an email the personal info and preffered colours. But for now here is a selection of examples of some of the most recent prints...
